It is one of the most satisfying things in my life when I can explain the Harry Potter fandom, my internet friends and how much they mean to me and the person I’m explaining it to really and truly understand how important it is. It’s an extremely rare occurrence so when it happens it makes me feel so… happy; happy that I was able to make one more person in this world understand that the internet isn’t just a strange place filled with old creepy men, and that the Harry Potter world is so much more than just a popular book series. I wish that everyone could see it that way but I suppose I’m content if at least a few people IRL understand why I love HP so much, how I can spend hours upon hours talking to my URL friends, and how incredible it’s going to be to have it all combined into one gigantic love fest at Leakycon.
